Anxiety, fatigue, stress and pain, the idea that mothers can affect the
lactation in the postpartum period. Especially the idea that mothers will have
enough milk can affect lactation by sending negative messages to the
subconscious. It includes non-pharmacological methods (nipple stimulation,
breast massage, warm showering, applying warm compresses to the breast,
milk-enhancing herbal teas, etc.) to help increase lactation. Another method
help mothers achieve both lactation and a calm and comfortable state.
Hypnobreastfeeding, relaxation techniques in the form of meditation, which
helps mothers relax, maintain calmness, reduce blood pressure and heart beat
and slow down their breathing. Soft and light touches have a body-enhancing
effect and help to start increase lactation with positive affirmations. This
review is intended to introduce, perform, and conduct clinical trials in
hypnobreastfeeding.
