Abstract

Lung cancer is the most common type of cancer in the world and in our country. The most effective method in its treatment is surgical treatment and one of them is wedge-resection. Wedge-resection is a surgical method that aims at least parenchymal tissue loss by considering pulmonary functions. The structuring of the nursing care of the patients who underwent this intervention can form the basis for increasing the quality of care.
In this case report, the nursing care of a patient who underwent wedge-resection of the lung was structured according to the Roy Adaptation Model, and the nursing care was planned and evaluated in the areas of physiology, self-concept, role function and interdependence.

Akciğere Wedge Rezeksiyon Uygulanan Bir Hastada, Roy Uyum Modeline Göre Yapılandırılmış Hemşirelik Bakımı Uygulaması

Year 2024, Volume: 40 Issue: 2, 283 - 291, 29.08.2024
