Abstract

Ketiapin
şizofreni, bipolar bozukluk gibi psikiyatrik bozuklukların tedavisinde
kullanılan bir antipsikotiktir. Sedasyon, kilo alımı, kabızlık, halsizlik gibi
yan etkileri bulunmaktadır. Lökopeni, ketiapin kullanımı ile ilişkili
olabilecek diğer bir nadir yan etkidir. Bu olgu sunumunda, ketiapin kullanımı
sırasında gelişen beyaz küre düşüklüğünü ele aldık.

Leukopenia Associated with the Use of Quetiapine: A Case Report

Abstract

Quetiapine
is an antipsychotic used in the treatment of schizophrenia and bipolar
disorder. There are side effects such as sedation, weight gain, constipation
and drowsiness. Leukopenia is another rare side effect associated with the use
of quetiapine. In this case report, we discussed the low white blood cell count
during quetiapine use.
