Abstract

Bu makalede dil hayâtiyeti, dil ölümü, tehlikedeki diller ve dillerin işlevsizleşmeboyutu bağlamında Türk dilinin önemli bir türü sayılan Horasan bölgesinde konuşulan Türkçenin durumunu incelemeye çalışacağız. Dil ölümüne neden olanetkenler üzerinde durmak ve Horasan Türk diyalektinin dil hayâtiyeti bağlamında yerini tespit etmek bu makalenin asıl amacıdır. Horasan Türkleri İran’da yaşayan diğer Türkler gibi ister istemez Pehlevî rejiminden bu yana (1925'den beri)İran’ın “ulus-devlet” projesi çerçevesinde asimilasyona maruz kalmışlardır. Bizburada Horasan Türk diyalektinin tehlike boyutlarını ortaya koymaya çalışacağız

Current Situation of Khorasan Turks in Respect of Language Vitality

Abstract

Within this article, we will try to analyze the status of the Khorasan Turkishdialect which is regarded as one of the most important branches of TurkishLanguage, in the context of language vitality, extinction of languages, endangeredlanguages and dysfunctionalizing of languages. The main purpose of this article isto identify the status of the Khorasan Turkish dialect in the context of languagevitality and dwell on the fact or swhich cause the language extinction. KhorasanTurks, same as the other Turks living in İran, inevitably being subjected toassimilation since the Pahlavi regime (1925), in the framework of the “nationstate” project.
