Abstract
Türk Dünyası halk kültürü üzerinde saz eşliğinde söz söyleme geleneği yüzyıllardır aynı önem ve özende müstesna bir yere sahiptir. Türklerin tarihi gelişim ve değişimleri sırasında bu gelenek de doğal olarak değişmiştir. Günümüzde de bu geleneğin devamı halk ozanları ve âşıklar tarafından devam ettirilmektedir. Yozgat ilinin Sorgun ilçesinde bu geleneği icra etmeye çalışan âşıklardan birisi de Âşık İhsan ŞAŞAR’dır. Bu makalemizde onun hayatı şiirleri ve âşıklığı üzerine yapmış olduğumuz incelemeye yer vereceğiz. Âşık yetiştiği topraklarda doğmuş, yetişmiş ve hayatını devam ettirebilmek için çalışmış, bununla beraber de çevresinde bir dinleyici kitlesi oluşturarak ünlenmiştir. Çeşitli organizasyonlara şenliklere davet edilmiştir. Günümüz yaşayan âşıkları asında yer alan Âşık İhsan Şaşar, bölge aşıklık geleneği üzerinde önemli bir yere sahiptir

Abstract
Turkish World instrumental accompaniment on folk culture, the same attention and care for such an exceptional place singing tradition has for centuries.
During the development and changes in the natural history of the Turks in this
tradition has changed. Today, this tradition being maintained by the troubadours
