Sürdürülebilir Kalkınma Hedefleri ve Tarımsal Üretim Sistemleri Arasındaki Bağlantı: Türkiye Analizi

Abstract

Dünya geneli ve Türkiye'de teknolojik gelişmeler inanılmaz bir hız ile gerçekleşmektedir. Diğer bütün sektörler olduğu gibi tarım sektörü ve dolayısıyla tarımsal üretim sistemleri de bu süreçten çok hızlı bir şekilde etkilenmektedir. Akıllı tarım uygulamaları, yapay zeka teknolojileri, drone ile gübreleme ve ilaçlama, elektrikli tarımsal ekipmanlar, otonom sistemler kamuoyunda konuşulan ve uygulanan başlıca kavram ve konuların başında gelmektedir. Diğer taraftan bu gelişme ve kalkınma sürecinin, sürdürülebilirlik çerçevesinde ele alınması, sınırlı olan doğal ve ekolojik kaynakların olabildiğince dengeli kullanılması önerilmektedir. Bu çalışmada, öncelikle Birleşmiş Milletler Tarım ve Gıda Örgütü'nün (FAO) geliştirmiş olduğu çalışma aracı ile Türkiye'de bu konuda yapılmakta olan uygulamalar ve politika araçları genel hatları ile analiz edilmiştir. Diğer taraftan Türkiye'de Sürdürülebilir Kalkınma Hedeflerini (SDG) oluşturan herbir kalemin gerçekleştirilme durumu güncel olarak ortaya konmuştur. Sonuç olarak Türkiye'de SDG'nin belirli ölçüde yerine getirildiği belirlenirken, tarımın yapısal dönüşümü ve tarımsal sistemlerin de bu yönde geliştirilmesine yönelik çabaların gelişmekte olduğu belirlenmiştir.

The Link between Sustainable Development Goals and Agricultural Production Systems: Türkiye Analysis

Abstract

Technological developments are taking place at an incredible pace in the world and in Türkiye. As with all other sectors, the agricultural sector and therefore agricultural production systems are also affected by this process very quickly. Smart agricultural applications, artificial intelligence technologies, fertilization and spraying with drones, electric agricultural equipment, autonomous systems are among the main concepts and topics that are discussed and applied in the public. On the other hand, it is recommended that this development and development process be addressed within the framework of sustainability and that limited natural and ecological resources be used as balanced as possible. In this study, first of all, the applications and political instruments carried out in this regard in Turkey were analyzed in general terms with the working tool developed by the United Nations Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO). On the other hand, the current status of the realization of each item that constitutes the Sustainable Development Goals (SDG) in Türkiye was revealed. As a result, it is defined that the SDG was fulfilled to a certain extent in Türkiye, and efforts are being made towards the structural transformation of agriculture and the development of agricultural systems in this direction.
