Anlam Vezni Kavramı Üzerine Değerlendirmeler

Abstract

            Anlam vezni kavramı üzerinde son otuz yıldır çalışılmaya başlanan eş dizimsel bir fenomendir. Bir kelimenin birlikte kullanılma alışkanlığına sahip olduğu diğer kelimelerden etkilenerek zamanla sahip olduğu çağrışımsal anlam olarak tanımlanabilir. Bu anlam özelliği cümleye olumlu, olumsuz veya tarafsız bir bakış açısı kazandırır. Bu makalede anlam vezni kavramının detaylı bir şekilde tanıtılması amaçlanmaktadır. Bu doğrultuda öncelikle anlam vezni kavramı, daha sonra anlam vezni üzerine yapılmış çalışmalar ve anlam vezni incelemelerinden yararlanabilecek alanlar incelenmiştir.

Evaluations on The Concept of Semantic Prosody

Abstract

            Semantic prosody is a collocational phenomenon that has been studied over the last thirty years. It can be defined as a connotational meaning of a word acquired over time by being influenced by the other words which it conventionally co-occurs with. This semantic feature brings whether a positive, negative, or neutral point of view in a sentence. In this article, it is aimed to introduce the concept of semantic prosody in detail. In this direction, firstly the concept of semantic prosody, then the works on semantic prosody and the fields which can benefit from semantic prosody have been examined.
