Application of Fuzzy DEMATEL and Fuzzy VIKOR Methods in Personnel Selection

Abstract

It is important to work with qualified human resources, especially in today's world, where the importance of knowledge and having the right information is increasing day by day. Having the right human resources is an important tool in increasing the competitiveness of businesses. The selection phase of the right candidate is one of the difficult steps of the process. To choose the right candidate among alternative candidates, it may be necessary to find the candidate who meets many criteria in the best way. It is very useful to use Multi Criteria Decision Making techniques in such problems where many alternatives and multiple criteria should be evaluated, in terms of ensuring that all criteria can be included in the evaluation phase. In this study, the problem of choosing a human resources manager of a manufacturing company operating in Sakarya is discussed. The DEMATEL and VIKOR methods, which are among the Multi Criteria Decision Making techniques, have been studied fuzzy in order to take into account heuristic evaluations. Six criteria and seven alternatives were determined for the problem. A team of three experts, consisting of factory manager, sales manager and production manager, worked together in determining the criteria.

Personel Seçiminde Bulanık DEMATEL ve Bulanık VIKOR Yöntemlerinin Uygulanması

Abstract

Özellikle bilginin ve doğru bilgiye sahip olmanın öneminin her geçen gün arttığı günümüzde, kalifiye insan kaynağı ile çalışabilmek önemlidir. Doğru insan kaynağına sahip olmak işletmelerin rekabet edebilirliğini arttırmada önemli bir araçtır. Doğru adayın seçim aşaması sürecin zorlu adımlarından biridir. Alternatif adaylar arasından doğru adayı seçmek için pek çok kriteri en iyi şekilde sağlayan adayı bulmak gerekebilir. Çok alternatifin ve çok kriterin değerlendirilmesi gereken bu tarz problemlerde Çok Kriterli Karar Verme tekniklerini kullanmak, değerlendirme aşamasına tüm kriterlerin katılabilmesini sağlaması açısından oldukça kullanışlıdır. Bu çalışmada, Sakarya’da faaliyet gösteren bir imalat işletmesinin insan kaynakları müdürü seçim problemi ele alınmıştır. Çok Kriterli Karar Verme tekniklerinden DEMATEL ve VIKOR yöntemleri, sezgisel değerlendirmelerin de hesaba katılabilmesi için bulanık olarak çalışılmıştır. Problem için altı kriter ve yedi alternatif belirlenmiştir. Kriterlerin belirlenmesinde işletmede fabrika müdürü, satış müdürü ve üretim müdüründen oluşan üç kişilik uzman bir ekip ile birlikte çalışılmıştır.
