KARBON ELYAF KUMAŞ İLE SARGILANMIŞ BETONLARIN DAYANIMININ İNCELENMESİ

Abstract



Son yıllarda meydana gelen depremler sonrasında Türkiye’de bu
bölgelerde bulunan betonarme yapıların büyük bir kısmının onarım ve
güçlendirilmesinin gerektiği belirlenmiştir. Güçlendirme ile ilgili sorunların
en önemlisi, bu binaların boşaltılarak güçlendirilmesinin uygulaması kolay bir
çözüm olmamasıdır. Bu sorunun çözümü için güçlendirme aşamasında binanın
kullanımına mani olmayacak yöntemler geliştirmek gerekmektedir. Karbon lifleri,
beton güçlendirme ve onarım amaçlı yüksek dayanım ve performans özellikli
takviye elemanları olarak, uzun yıllardan beri yapı sektöründe
kullanılmaktadır.




Bu çalışmanın amacı, karbon elyaf ile güçlendirilen sargılı
numunelerin sargısız numunelere göre farklı dayanım sınıfına sahip beton
numunelerin dayanım özelliklerinin araştırılmasıdır. Deney aşamasında temin
edilen numuneler laboratuvar ortamında hazırlanmıştır. Numunelerin üzerine
yapıştırıcı yardımıyla karbon elyaf kumaş sarılarak hazırlanan numuneler ve
sargısız numuneler üzerinde dayanım deneyleri yapılmıştır. Yapılan deney sonuçlarına
göre genel olarak sargılanan numunelerde sargılanmayan numunelere göre dayanım
değerlerinde %42 artış sağlanmıştır.

CONCRETE STRENGTHENING WITH CARBON FIBER

Abstract

After the earthquakes occurred in Turkey in recent years, it has been determined that a large portion of the concrete structures in these regions need to be repaired and reinforced. The most important issue is that application of reinforcement along with discharging the buildings is not an easy solution. For the solution of this issue, it is necessary to develop methods which will not obstruct the use of building during the reinforcement stage.




The aim of this study is to investigate the strength properties of concrete samples being in different strength classes, such as wrapped and unwrapped. The samples obtained in the experimental phase were prepared in the laboratory. The strength tests were performed on samples which were prepared by wounding the carbon fiber on the sample by using an adhesive and unwrapped samples which does not contain any carbon fiber. According to the experimental results, the samples wrapped with carbon fiber showed 42% higher strength as compared to unwrapped samples.
