Abstract
The purpose of this research; to determine the effect of students who have sports education at the undergraduate level on their academic motivation. The study group of the research consists of 216 male and 114 female participants, who are studying sports at the undergraduate level at a public university in the fall semester of 2017-2018. As a data collection tool; "Attitude Scale for Learning" developed by Kara (2010) and "Academic Motivation Scale" developed by Bozanoğlu (2004) were used. In the analysis of the data; T-test, One Way ANOVA and multiple linear regression analysis were used. Analysis results; shows that participants' attitudes towards academic motivation and learning do not differ statistically by gender. However, it was determined that the academic motivation of the participants varied significantly according to the level of success. In addition, when the variance values explained are examined; It can be stated that 25% of self-transcendence, 26% of using information and 21% of discovery are explained with attitude towards learning. Moving from this point, your attitude towards learning; It can be stated that it has a significant impact on increasing the curiosity of learning, increasing the level of desire for learning, the belief in overcoming it when it meets difficult issues, and enjoying new issues in working situations.
