Aim & Scope

EKSEN JFA aims to provide an interdisciplinary perspective to the current discussions in the following subjects: urban and regional planning, architecture, urban design, environment and behavior studies, urban conservation, preservation and restoration, and structure. In addition, Eksen JFA aims to promote interdisciplinary information exchange via research and theory articles that propose a new knowledge or a new method (or a new dimension to existing knowledge) on current national and international debates in these disciplines.

EKSEN JFA is a multidisciplinary, interdisciplinary, international, and double-blind peer-reviewed scientific e-journal published under the Faculty of Architecture of Dokuz Eylul University, which adopts an online continuous publication model (where accepted articles are published directly without waiting). The publication language of the journal is Turkish and English. In order for all articles published in the journal to reach as wide an audience as possible, EKSEN JFA is open access. Although priority is given to research articles in the journal, review articles are also published.
