Abstract
The aim of this research is to
analyze the work done in the national field related to the extracurricular
learning environments by means of content analysis between 2007-2016. A total
of 133 studies have been reached in the study area. 14 of these studies, which
are reached from the national-international field, are composed of the
dissertation thesis, 43 of them are in the master thesis and 76 of them are
published in the feminist journals. The themes and encodings of the studies
investigated in the study are presented in graphical form using the resulting
frequency values of the data. As a result of the research, it has been seen
that studies on non-school learning environments have increased regularly in
recent years. It has been determined that the work done is mostly in the form
of articles published in the field of Science and scanned in the national dimension. It has been found
that during the study trip/nature activities and museum/science centers are
mostly used, generally quantitative and descriptive/ scanning methods are used.
Furthermore, it has been determined that the education and training problems
that occur in the extracurricular learning environments, in which the studies
are mostly carried out with middle school students and teachers, and the
effects of these environments on the interest, attitude and learning products
of the students. In the researches, interview forms, likert type scales and
success tests were used as data gathering tools and descriptive and predictive
data analyzes were generally applied as data analysis methods.
