Journal of EngineX: Advanced Engineering and Technology is committed to maintaining high standards of publication ethics, academic integrity, transparency, and responsible research practices. Authors, reviewers, and editors are expected to comply with the following principles.

Authors

Authors must confirm that:

1. The submitted manuscript is an original work of the authors and has not been published previously.
2. The manuscript is not under consideration for publication in another journal and will not be submitted elsewhere during the review process.
3. All authors have made significant contributions to the work and have approved the submitted version.
4. Any actual or potential conflict of interest is clearly disclosed.
5. All sources, data, materials, software, and other relevant contributions used in the study are appropriately acknowledged and cited.
6. All applicable ethical requirements, permissions, and approvals have been obtained where necessary.
7. Any errors or inaccuracies identified after submission or publication are promptly reported to the editorial office.

Simultaneous submission of the same manuscript to more than one journal is considered unethical and is not permitted.

Reviewers

Reviewers must:

1. Evaluate manuscripts objectively and fairly based solely on their scientific and intellectual content, without discrimination based on gender, race, ethnicity, religion, nationality, political views, or other personal characteristics.
2. Maintain the confidentiality of all information obtained during the peer-review process and not use unpublished information for personal or professional benefit.
3. Disclose any actual or potential conflict of interest and decline the review when impartiality may be compromised.
4. Notify the editor of any ethical concerns, suspected plagiarism, duplicate publication, data manipulation, or other serious issues identified during the review process.
5. Provide constructive, clear, and evidence-based comments to assist authors in improving their manuscripts.
6. Complete reviews within the agreed timeframe or inform the editor if an extension is required.

Editors and Editorial Board

Editors and members of the Editorial Board must:

1. Evaluate manuscripts fairly and impartially based on their scientific quality, originality, relevance, and methodological rigor, without discrimination based on gender, race, ethnicity, religion, nationality, political views, or other personal characteristics.
2. Maintain the confidentiality of submitted manuscripts and related information.
3. Disclose any actual or potential conflict of interest and, where necessary, withdraw from the editorial process.
4. Make editorial decisions independently and based on the scientific merit of the manuscript and the reviewers' evaluations.
5. Ensure that appropriate action is taken in cases of suspected plagiarism, duplicate publication, research misconduct, or other ethical violations.
6. Ensure that all manuscripts are handled in accordance with the journal's publication policies and ethical standards.

Editorial Decisions and Revisions

The Editorial Board is responsible for making publication decisions based on the scientific quality and originality of the manuscript, reviewers' evaluations, the journal's editorial policies, and applicable ethical and legal standards.

Authors are expected to submit a revised manuscript within two months of receiving a revision decision. Manuscripts not revised within this period may be considered withdrawn, unless an extension is requested by the authors and approved by the editorial office.
