For Authors;
It is strongly recommended that submitted manuscripts exhibit the following characteristics:
- Original research studies presenting significant scientific or technological findings,
- Theoretical, experimental, numerical, computational, or applied studies addressing current engineering and technology challenges,
- Interdisciplinary studies integrating different engineering disciplines,
- Review studies that comprehensively evaluate significant developments in a particular field,
- Technical studies presenting innovative methods, techniques, technologies, or engineering applications.
Manuscripts must be written in English and must be within the scope of the Journal of EngineX: Advanced Engineering and Technology.
All authors must have an ORCID ID. Manuscripts must be original, must not have been published previously, and must not be under consideration by another journal.
Uploading the Manuscript to the Submission System

During submission, authors should provide all information and files requested by the DergiPark submission system.
Manuscript Structure
Manuscripts should generally include the following sections, where applicable:
- Title
- Author names, affiliations, and ORCID IDs
- Abstract
- Keywords
- Introduction
- Materials and Methods / Methodology
- Results
- Discussion
- Conclusions
- Acknowledgements
- Funding
- Conflict of Interest
- Data Availability
- Ethics Statement, where applicable
- AI-Assisted Technologies
- References
The structure may be adapted according to the nature of the manuscript.
References and Citations
References must be cited in the text using Arabic numerals in square brackets, according to the order in which they first appear.
Examples:
Single citation: [1]
Multiple citations: [2, 5, 8]
Consecutive citations: [3–6]
References should be listed in the order of their first appearance in the manuscript.
Journal articles should generally be formatted as follows:
Surname, N., Surname, N., & Surname, N. (Year). Article title. Journal Name, Volume(Issue), xx–xx. https://doi.org/xx.xxxx/enginex.xxxxxx
DOI information should be provided where available.
Files Accompanying the Manuscript
Authors must provide all documents requested during the DergiPark submission process.
Where applicable, authors may be required to provide additional documents such as:
- Copyright and licensing information,
- Ethics committee approval,
- Conflict of interest declaration,
- Funding information,
- Data availability statement,
- Other supporting documents requested by the editorial office.
- Plagiarism and Similarity Check
All submitted manuscripts may be screened for plagiarism and textual similarity using appropriate similarity detection tools.
Manuscripts containing substantial unattributed overlap or evidence of plagiarism will not be considered for publication. The Editorial Board reserves the right to request clarification, revision, or reject manuscripts in accordance with the journal's Ethical Principles and Publication Policy.
Peer Review
Submitted manuscripts undergo an initial editorial assessment for scope, originality, scientific quality, and compliance with the journal's requirements.
Manuscripts that pass the initial assessment are sent for peer review in accordance with the journal's Peer Review Policy.
Revision
Authors are expected to carefully address the comments of the editors and reviewers when submitting a revised manuscript.
A revised manuscript should normally be submitted within two months of the revision decision. Manuscripts not revised within this period may be considered withdrawn unless an extension is requested and approved by the editorial office.
Publication Fees
Journal of EngineX: Advanced Engineering and Technology does not charge submission fees, article processing charges (APCs), or any other publication-related fees.
All published articles are freely accessible under the journal's open-access policy.
