Case of Aortic Regurgitation in a Amble Racehorse

Abstract

The aim of the case report is evaluation of aortic regurgitation as clinical and echocardiographic in a Amble racehorse. The material of the case consisted of a 4-year-old male amble racehorse who was brought to ERU Veterinary Faculty Training, Research and Application Hospital clinics with wheezing symptoms after exercise. No pathology was detected in the clinical and hematological examination of the horse. Echocardiographic examination revealed first-degree regurgitation of the aortic valve region and aortic regurgitant jet.

Rahvan Koşu Atında Aortik Regürgitasyon Olgusu

Abstract

Bu olgu sunumunun amacı bir rahvan koşu atındaki aortik regürgitasyonun klinik ve ekokardiyografik olarak değerlendirilmesidir. Olgunun materyalini egzersiz sonrası hırıltılı solunum şikayeti ile ERÜ Veteriner Fakültesi Eğitim, Uygulama ve Araştırma Hastanesi kliniklerine getirilen 4 yaşlı, erkek bir rahvan koşu atı oluşturdu. Atın klinik ve hematolojik muayenesinde herhangi bir patolojiye rastlanmadı. Yapılan ekokardiyografik muayenede aort kapak bölgesinde birinci derece regürgitasyon ve aortik kapak bölgesinde regürgitant jet belirlendi.
