Atlarda Anoplocephalosis

Abstract

Anoplocephalosis, atlarda Anoplocephala perfoliata, Anoplocephala magna ve Paranoplocephala mamillanatürleri tarafından oluşturulmaktadır. Gelişmelerinde Oribatidae familyasına bağlı gözsüz akarları ara konak olarak kullanan bu türlerde larva formları cysticercoid şeklinde olup, enfeksiyon bu cysticercoidleri taşıyan akarların ağız yolu ilealınması ile şekillenir. Atlarda bu sestodların oluşturduğu enfeksiyonlar genelde az sayıda görülmekle birlikte, belirli birhastalık nedeni olmamaktadır. Ancak, bazı bölgelerde görülen yaygınlık hayvanların genel durumunu etkilemekte hattaölümlere neden olabilmektedir. Bu enfeksiyonların kontrol altına alınması ve etkili bir şekilde sağaltımı, etkeni saptamakla mümkün olmakta, bu da genel olarak dışkı yoklamalarında, yumurta veya halkaların saptanmasına ve serolojikyöntemlerle etkenin identifiye edilmesine dayanmaktadır. Atlarda anoplocephalosis’in sağaltımında niclosamide,bithionol, bithionol asetat, dichlorphen, resorantel, pyrantel pamoate, pyrantel embonate (tartarate), praziquantel,morantel gibi anthelmintikler kullanılmaktadır
