Dişi Köpeklerde GnRH Agonistlerinin Reprodüktif Kullanımı

Year 2014, Volume: 11 Issue: 3, 205 - 209, 01.12.2014

Abstract

Son yıllarda pet hayvan reprodüksiyonu alanındaki çalışmalar GnRH agonisti deslorelinin kullanımı üzerine yoğunlaşmıştır.

Deslorelin, küçük dozda yavaş salınım gösteren implant formundadır. Çalışmalar, anöstrustaki dişi köpeklerde

östrusun uyarılması, prepubertal dişilerde östrusun baskılanması ile uzun süreli kontrasepsiyon üzerine odaklanmıştır.

Fakat hala östrus siklusunun farklı evrelerindeki GnRH uygulamalarına ilişkin bilgi eksiklikleri bulunmaktadır.

Günümüzde, GnRH agonist implantları, östrus siklusunun geri dönüşümlü baskılanması yanında anöstrustaki dişi köpeklerde

fertil kızgınlıkların uyarımında dopamin agonistlerine alternatif olarak kullanım alanı bulmaktadır.

Reproductive Use of GnRH Agonists in Bitches

Year 2014, Volume: 11 Issue: 3, 205 - 209, 01.12.2014

Abstract

In recent years, studies have focused on use of GnRH agonist desloreline in small animal reproduction.

Desloreline is in the form of an implant exhibiting slow release at low doses. Research has focused on the use of

GnRH implants for long-term contraception the induction of oestrus in anoestrus and suppression of oestrus in

prepubertal bitches. However, there is still lack of information about GnRH treatment in different stages of oestrus

cycle. Nowadays, GnRH agonist implants can be used as an alternative to dopamine agonists to induce fertile oestrus

of bitches in anoestrus as well as to suppress oestrus.
