Sütçü İnek ve Düvelerde Postpartum Dönem Serum IgG ve Biyokimyasal Parametrelerin Karşılaştırılması

Abstract

Bu araştırmada, sütçü inek ve düvelerde doğum sonrası serum immunoglobulin G (IgG), makromineraller ve
bazı biyokimyasal parametreler karşılaştırıldı. Yirmidört baş yeni doğum yapan düve ve 24 baş iki veya daha fazla doğum
yapan inek olmak üzere 48 inekten doğumdan hemen sonra kan örnekleri alındı. Serum IgG seviyesi ELISA metodu
ile makromineral ve biyokimyasal parametreler ise otoanalizör kullanılarak belirlendi. Düve ve ineklerin serum biyokimyasal
parametreleri ve IgG seviyeleri karşılaştırıldığında; düvelerde serum alkalen fosfataz (ALP), laktat dehidrogenaz
(LDH) ve fosfor seviyeleri ineklere göre önemli oranda (P<0.05) yüksek, IgG ve magnezyum (Mg) seviyeleri ise
önemli oranda (P<0.05) düşük bulundu. Sonuç olarak, doğum sonrası düve ve inekler arasında serum immunoglobulin
G, makromineral ve bazı biyokimyasal parametrelerde önemli farklılıkların olduğu ve sütçü sığırlarda postpartum dönemde
bu değişimlerin göz önünde bulundurulmasının yararlı olacağı kanısına varılmıştır.

Comparison of Serum IgG and Biochemical Parameters at the Postpartum Period in Dairy Cows and Heifers

Abstract

The aim of this study was to compare the levels of serum IgG and biochemical parameters at the postpartum

period in dairy cows and heifers. Blood samples were taken immediately after birth from 48 cows, including

twenty-four heifers and 24 cows which experienced two or more deliveries. Serum IgG level was determined by ELISA

method and macromineral and biochemical parameters by using autoanalyzer. When serum biochemical parameters

and IgG levels of heifers and cows were compared; in heifers, serum ALP, LDH and phosphorus levels were significantly

higher (P<0.05) and IgG and Mg levels were significantly lower (P<0.05). In conclusion, it is determined that

there are significant differences in serum immunoglobulin G, macromineral and some biochemical parameters between

heifer and cows at the postpartum period and that it would be useful to consider these changes in postpartum period in

dairy cows.
