Ters Zoonotik Viral Enfeksiyonlar

Abstract

Son on yılda insanlarda ortaya çıkan yeni enfeksiyonların yaklaşık olarak %64’ünün hayvan veya hayvansal kaynaklı ürünlerden kaynaklandığı saptanmıştır. Zoonoz enfeksiyonlarda hayvanların adeta enfeksiyon havuzu gibi davrandığını ve bu nedenle insanlar için büyük risk oluşturduklarını yeniden gündeme getirmiştir. Genellikle hayvanlar-dan insanlara bulaşan enfeksiyonlar olarak algılanan zoonoz enfeksiyonlar, aslında insanlardan hayvanlara bulaşan hastalıklar olarak da düşünülmelidir. Bu durum ters zoonoz olarak adlandırılıp, insanlardaki viral enfeksiyonların yakın temasta olunan hayvan türlerinde saptanmasıyla ortaya konmuştur. Bu derleme ile viral ters zoonoz enfeksiyonlar ko-nusunda yapılmış çalışmaların verileri değerlendirilmiş ve bu enfeksiyonların hayvan ve insan sağlığı için önemine dikkat çekilmiştir.
