Abstract

Pyometra, tanısının geciktiği olgularda ölümcül olabilen bir hastalıktır. Geliştirilen birçok tanı yöntemi, hastalığın hem erken dönemde teşhis edilmesi hem de prognozu hakkında bilgi vererek tedavi seçeneklerinin ortaya konmasını sağlamıştır. Sunulan bu derlemede, pyometralı köpeklerde tanı yöntemleri ve bununla ilgili son yıllardaki çalışmalar incelenerek yeni yaklaşımlar hakkında genel bilgiler verilmesi amaçlanmıştır
