The aim of this study is to examine the postgraduate theses made with cartoons in the field of education in terms of various variables. For this purpose, 82 postgraduate theses were downloaded from the National Thesis Center of the Council of Higher Education in accordance with the purpose of the research. Downloaded graduate theses; They were examined and analyzed according to their types, years, universities, institutes and departments, research methods and models, sample groups and research topics. The research was carried out according to the document analysis method, one of the qualitative research methods. Content analysis approach was used in the analysis of the data. As a result of the research; the most postgraduate studies were conducted, the researches were concentrated between 2019-2022, the most postgraduate thesis was made at Gazi University, mostly using qualitative methods and document analysis, social sciences institutes and educational sciences institutes were at the forefront, ıt has been determined that more postgraduate theses are made in Turkish and social sciences departments, and cartoons and students are mostly used as the sample group. Bu çalışmanın amacı eğitim alanında çizgi filmlerin kullanılması ile ilgili yapılan lisansüstü tezlerin çeşitli değişkenler açısından incelenmesini kapsamaktadır. Bu amaç doğrultusunda Yükseköğretim Kurulu Ulusal Tez Merkezi’nden araştırmanın amacına uygun olarak 82 lisansüstü tez indirilmiştir. İndirilen lisansüstü tezler; türlerine, yıllarına, yapıldıkları üniversitelere, yapıldıkları enstitülere ve anabilim dallarına, araştırma yöntemlerine ve modellerine, örneklem gruplarına ve araştırma konularına göre incelenmiş ve analiz edilmiştir. Araştırma nitel araştırma yöntemlerinden doküman analizi yöntemine göre yapılmıştır. Verilerin analizinde içerik analizi yaklaşımı kullanılmıştır. Araştırma sonucunda; en fazla yüksek lisans türünde araştırma yapıldığı, araştırmaların 2019-2022 yılları arasında yoğunlaştığı, en fazla Gazi Üniversitesi’nde lisansüstü tez yapıldığı, çoğunlukla nitel yöntem ve doküman analizi kullanıldığı, sosyal bilimler enstitüleri ve eğitim bilimleri enstitülerinin ön planda olduğu, Türkçe ve sosyal bilimler anabilim dallarında daha çok lisansüstü tez yapıldığı ve örneklem grubu olarak çoğunlukla çizgi filmler ve öğrencilerden faydalanıldığı tespit edilmiştir. Ayrıca araştırma konusu olarak değerler eğitiminin, çizgi filmler yardımıyla eğitimin, çizgi filmlerin akademik başarı, tutum ve motivasyon üzerindeki etkilerinin ve toplumsal cinsiyet eşitliği kavramlarının ön plana çıktığı görülmüştür.
