Abstract
The purpose of the study is to analyze whether the views of the managers in the hotel enterprises operating in Çorum on ethical and corporate social responsibility (CSR) differ according to demographic factors, hotel status, hotel sizes and star ratings of the hotels. The population of the study is TR 83 Region, which covers the provinces of Samsun, Çorum, Amasya and Tokat. However, due to the difficulties of face-to-face survey application to the entire population during the pandemic process, the research was conducted only with the managers of all hotels with tourism management certificate in Çorum. The sample consists of participants who have management or business owner-operator positions in the Çorum hotel industry. Non-parametric one-way analysis of variance, Kruskal-Wallis and Mann-Whitney U tests were performed with the SPSS package program, to the data obtained through the questionnaire applied by face-to-face interviews with the participants. According to the results of the analysis, statistically significant differences were determined in terms of the status of the hotel, the size of the hotel and the stars of the hotels. However, no statistically significant differences were found between the participants' views on ethics and CSR in terms of demographic factors (gender, age and education level).
