Management can be defined as vvorking with and through individuals and groups to accomplish organizatio-nal goals. Recognizing the importance of human element in organızations; the conceptual framework of organizational stress, its psychological bases, its origins and outcomes are explaned. And also the concepts related to stress such as frustration, conflict, complex and defensive behavior are analyzed. Considering the concept of stress in this frame-work may be of great help to the managers in understan-ding, describing, predicting and controlling the behaviors of individuals in an organization.
