Abstract

Çanakkale savaşları olağanüstü şartların ve olağanüstü mücadelelerin
savaşıdır. Türk askeri Çanakkale’de bir ölüm-kalım savaşı vermiş;
gelecek nesillerin varlık ve bağımsızlık mücadelesi için hayatını
vatanına feda etmiştir.
Çanakkale Savaşı’nda siper hayatı ve cephede sosyal faaliyetler
konulu bu çalışmada, Türk askerinin olağanüstü şartlarda oluşturulan
cephedeki sosyal hayatı ele alınacaktır. Çalışma, siper hayatı ve
askerlerin sosyal ihtiyaçlarının temini, cephede askerin psikolojik
durumu ve propaganda faaliyetleri, esirlere yapılan muameleler ve
cepheyi ziyaret eden heyetler çerçevesinde özellikle dönemin basınına
yansıyan ve hatıratlarda yer alan veriler çerçevesinde incelenecektir.

The Life and Social Activities in the Front Line in the Gallipoli Campaign

Abstract

The Gallipoli Campaign wis a war of extraordinary conditions and
extraordinary struggles. This paper discusses the social life of the
Turkish troops in the front line, and their extraordinary circumstances.
The subject will be examined within the frame of the front line life, and
the procurement of soldiers’ social needs, psychological conditions of
the soldiers, propaganda activities, and the procedures devoted to the
captives. The front line will also be examined around the visiys of the
delegations, the news in the media of the memoirs.
