ERDEM Journal of Humanities and Social Sciences
ERDEM, as one of the periodicals of Atatürk Cultural Center Chairmanship, in various fields of social sciences (Literature - Old / New Turkish Literature, Turkish Folk Literature, comparative literature, literary theory and criticism - art history, sociology, philosophy, geography, folklore, cultural studies, literary studies, music, city studies, philosophy of science and history, theater, translation) is a peer-reviewed, academic journal published twice a year in June / Summer and December / Winter. The first issue of ERDEM was published in 1985, its founder Ord. Prof. Dr. Aydın Sayılı. Articles sent through YAYSİS (Publication Tracking System) in accordance with the publication rules of the ERDEM journal are firstly plagiarized and inspected by specialist. The articles are included in the referee process and published after 2 approvals are made by the decision of the Editorial Board of Erdem Journal.
ERDEM has adopted the policy of providing open access. Open access provides useful results for humanity by increasing the speed and area of information dissemination. ERDEM is prepared and published using state resources, does not demand any fees from the authors, and pays royalties to the authors and referees in accordance with the relevant regulation provisions.

Erdem, published by Atatürk Culture Centre, is a peer-reviewed international journal that publishes articles on humanities and social sciences. It is published twice a year in June and December. The articles should be in accordance with scientific research criteria, contribute to related fields, and not have been published elsewhere. Symposium papers may be accepted for publication if they are not published before.
