Abstract

Bu yazıda ilk önce etiğin temel dallarını tanıtıyoruz. Bu bağlamda normatif etik kuramlarını
oluşturan yükümlülük etiği ile değer etiği kuramlarının ve meta-etik kuramlarının bir sınıflaması
veriliyor. İkinci olarak da etikle yakın ilişkili olan “yaşamın anlamı ne olmalıdır?” sorusuna bir yanıt
önerisi getirilmeye çalışılıyor. En sonda da bu yanıtın etik kuramlar ile olan ilişkisine kısaca değiniliyor.

Ethics and The Meanıng of Life

Abstract

In this paper fırst, the basic branches of ethics are introduced. To this effect, on the one hand,
the subdivision of normative ethics into duty ethics and axiological ethics, and on the other hand, that
of meta-ethics into cognitive and non-cognitive theories is presented. Next, an ansvver to the question
“What could the meaning of life be?” (which is closely related to ethics) is proposed. Finally, the
relevance of ethical theories to the proposed answer is briefly explained.
