Abstract

Bu araştırmada, “tarih” ve “tarih eğitimi”nin fert ve millet hayatındaki önemine işaret edildikten
sonra, Türkiye ‘deki ilk ve ortaöğretim kurumlanndaki “tarih öğretimi” mercek altına alınmıştır.
Özellikle; tarih öğretim metodlan, tarih öğretiminde bilgi teknolojisi kullanımı, müfredat ve buna bağlı olarak hazırlanan tarih ders kitapları ve buralardaki tarih anlayışları, tarih öğretiminde “kavramlar” meselesi konularında mevcut problemler tespit edilerek modem batı ülkelerindeki uygulamalar da dikkate alınarak bazı öneriler geliştirilmiştir.

History Teaching In Primary And Secondary Education: Problems And Solutions

Abstract

In this paper, history teaching in Turkish primary and secondary educationalinstitutions has
been placed in focus, after ştressing the signifıcanse of “history” and “historyeducation” in individual
and national levels.
Espacialy fundamental problems of, history teaching methods, information technology usage in
history teaching, cirriculum, tex books and the historical approach in them, and “consepts” problem in
history teaching have been discussed along with a number of proposal for possible solitions, in
comparison with some applications in modem westem countries.
