Terimlerin Genel Dile Yansımasına Dair Bazı Gözlemler

Abstract

Dillerin söz varlığı değişik katmanlardan oluşur. Bu nedenle söz varlığı deyince sadece dile ait kelimeler bütününü düşünmeyip bu katmanları da göz önünde bulundurmak gereklidir. Söz varlığı içinde deyimler, terimler ve atasözleri, hem birbirleriyle hem de genel dil katmanıyla sıkı ilişki içindedir. Terimler oluşturulurken genel dilin kelimelerinden yararlanılabilir ve o kelimeye özel anlamlar yüklenebilir. Aynı şekilde sıklık oranı daha düşük olsa da terim olarak kullanılan bazı yerli ve yabancı kelimeler de genel dile terim anlamlarına yakın ya da uzak anlamları çağrıştıracak biçimde- geçerek kullanım alanı bulabilirler

SOME OBSERVATIONS ON THE REFLECTION OF TERMS ONTO COMMON LANGUAGE

Abstract

The vocabulary of languages is made up of several layers. Because of this reason it is important when one speak about vocabulary to consider such layers in addition to thinking just of the totality of words of a language. Idioms, terms and proverbs in a vocabulary are related both with each other and with the layers in general. One can utilize the words of the language when he is producing some terms and therefore can predicate some private senses that word. Likewise some native and foreign words which are used as term can also be used –as if associating the close or far senses of the termnotwithstanding so much often within frame of the common language
