The Effect Of Television To Perception On Related To Profession Choice Of Elementary Seventy Grades Students
Abstract
This study is to determine if there is any effect of television on seven grade students of primary school with regard to their perception of profession choice. The research has been conducted in different schools where socio-economically lower, middle and high class students attend. A descriptive analysis has been done in the research in which qualitative method has been employed. As a result of the analysis in which the data have been collected by interviews, it has been found out that of 52 seven graders, 14 have been directly affected and 12 have been indirectly affected by television. It has been indicated that most students watch local series. The content of series dependion on socio-economic differences has an effect on the choice of students professions. In conclusion, it is clear that television affects the decision and the consolidation of this decision of the individuals during their vocational growth.
