Abstract

The paper is a literature review, which consists of e-trade in general, the tools that are used and the related terminology and the suitable industries in the first part as a basic study for e-trade. The second part of the article is about e-trade applications in tourism industry, the activities applicable by the communication types and information technologies in tourism. The following part is related with advantages and disadvantages of e-trade in tourism and the application of e-trade in subsegments (sub sectors) of tourism. The article ends with winners and losers of e-trade in tourism and the reasons for being unsuccessful.

TURİZM ENDÜSTRİSİNDE E-TİCARET

Abstract

Makale literatür taramasıdır. İlk kısımda e-ticaret konusuna temel olarak; genel olarak E-ticaret, kullanılan araçlar ve ilgili terminoloji ve e-ticarete uygun olan sektörler yer almaktadır. Makalenin ikinci kısmı turizm sektöründe e–ticaret uygulamalarına değinmekte, turizm sektörü iletişim şekilleri ve bilgi teknolojileri ile gerçekleştirilen faaliyetlere yer verilmektedir. Daha sonra turizm sektöründe ticarette olumlu ve olumsuz yönler ve dikkat gösterilmesi gereken konular ve alt sektörler itibari ile e-ticaretin uygulanması incelenmektedir. En son kısımda ise turizmde e-ticarette kazananlar ve kaybedenler ve başarısızlık nedenleri incelenmektedir.
