HAVAYOLU SEKTÖRÜNDE REKABETÇİ HAMLELERİN BELİRLENMESİ: SEKTÖRE ÖZGÜ BİR TİPOLOJİ ÖNERİSİ

Abstract

Bu araştırma rekabet dinamikleri çerçevesinde, Türkiye havayolu sektöründe rakip firmaların oluşturduğu rekabetçi hamlelerin belirlenmesini ve uygulamadaki mevcut hamlelerin sınıflandırılarak bir tipolojisinin oluşturulması amaçlamaktadır. Bu şekilde havayolu firmalarının stratejilerinin değişimi, süreç olarak ele alınabilmekte ve incelenebilmektedir. Veri toplama süreci ve yorumlama aşamasında, nitel araştırma yöntemine başvurulmuş böylece sektörün betimlenmesi sağlanmıştır. Sonuç olarak sektörde rekabetçi hamleler yoğun bir şekilde uygulanmakta ve rekabetin şiddetli olduğu görülmektedir. Uygulanan tüm hamleler tekrar sınıflandırıldığında pazar oluşturma, fiyatlandırma, hizmet, pazarlama ve promosyon, işbirliği ilişkileri ve kapasite hamleleri olarak altıya ayrılmaktadır. Önerilen bu tipoloji gelecekteki araştırmalara değer sunarak sektörün betimlenmesine katkı sağlayacaktır.
