Abstract

Bu çalışmanın amacı, spor bilimleri fakültesinde öğrenim görün öğrencilerin mücadele sporlarına yönelik tutumlarını çeşitli değişkenlere göre incelemektir. Nicel bir araştırma olan bu çalışmada genel tarama modellerinden ilişkisel tarama modeli kullanılmıştır. Araştırmanın evrenini Kırıkkale Üniversitesinde öğrenimlerine devam eden öğrenciler oluşturturken örneklemini ise Kırıkkale Üniversitesi Spor Bilimleri Fakültesi’nde öğrenimlerine devam eden öğrenciler oluşturmaktadır. Katılımcıların tutumlarını belirlemek üzere Kayapınar vd., (2016) tarafından geliştirilen “Mücadele Sporlarına İlişkin Tutum Ölçeği” kullanılmıştır. Verilere bağımsız örneklem testi (T-testi) ve tek yönlü varyans analizi (One-Way ANOVA) uygulanmıştır. Katılımcıların mücadele sporlarına yönelik tutumları çeşitli değişkenlere göre farklılık göstermektedir. Sonuç olarak, spor bilimlerinde öğrenimlerine devam eden öğrencilerin mücadele sporlarına yönelik tutumları cinsiyet değişkenine göre anlamlı farklılık göstermezken sporcu lisansına sahip olma, öğrenim görülen sınıf düzeyi, öğrenim görülen bölüm ve aktif olarak spor yapma sürelerine göre anlamlı farklılıklar göstermektedir.

Investigation of attitudes towards combat sports of students continuing their education in sports sciences

Abstract

The aim of this study is to examine the attitudes of students studying in the faculty of sport sciences towards combat sports according to various variables. In this quantitative study, the relational survey model, one of the general survey models, was used. The population of the study consists of students continuing their education at Kırıkkale University, while the sample consists of students continuing their education at Kırıkkale University Faculty of Sport Sciences. In order to determine the attitudes of the participants, the “Attitude Scale Towards Combat Sports” developed by Kayapınar et al. (2016) was used. Independent samples t-test and one-way analysis of variance (One-Way ANOVA) were applied to the data. Participants' attitudes towards combat sports differed according to various variables. As a result, the attitudes of the students who continue their education in sports sciences towards combat sports do not show significant differences according to the gender variable, while they show significant differences according to having an athlete license, the grade level of education, the department of education and the duration of active sports.
