Abstract

Although training and consultancy programs to improve breastfeeding results in the world and
in our country are very intensive, breastfeeding rates are not at the targeted levels. However,
when we evaluate the content of breastfeeding trainings, it is generally in the form of anatomy
and physiology of the breast, evaluation of milk amounts, routines, breastfeeding positions,
problems experienced in breastfeeding processes and their solutions. However, breastfeeding
is an action that has been going on since human existence and is carried out instinctively. In
this direction, it is inevitable that individual training and counseling processes will be needed
to increase awareness of her instincts in order to reduce the effect of confusion stated regarding
breastfeeding and to enable the woman to experience the natural breastfeeding process.
It is thought that the hypnobreastfeeding philosophy will be useful in gaining this awareness.
Developed by focusing on the nature of breastfeeding and based on the philosophy of hypno
birth ing/h ypnof ertil ity, emotion-oriented approaches, compassion with mindfulness practices
and motivational interview methods, hypnobreastfeeding is a philosophy rather than a method.
This article aims to explain the integration of hypnobreastfeeding philosophy into breastfeeding
training and counseling.

Hipnoemzirme Felsefesinin Emzirme Eğitim ve Danışmanlığına Entegrasyonu
