ÖĞRETMEN ADAYLARININ FEN BİLGİSİ ÖĞRETİMİ DERSİNE İLİŞKİN TUTUMLARI

Abstract

Bu araştırmanın amacı, yarının öğretmenleri olacak eğitim fakültesi sınıf öğretmenliği üçüncü sınıf öğrencilerinin fen bilgisi öğretimi dersine ilişkin tutumlarının belirlenmesidir. Yetişecek neslin akademik başarıları ve fen bilimlerine ilişkin kaygılarının temelinde yatan önemli faktörlerden birini bu tutumlar oluşturmaktadır. Bu doğrultuda eğitim fakültelerinin ikinci döneminde yürütülen fen bilgisi öğretimi dersinde, araştırmacılar tarafından hazırlanan “Fen Bilgisi Öğretimi Dersine İlişkin Tutum Ölçeği” dönemin başında ve sonunda ön-son tutum ölçeği şeklinde uygulanmıştır. Dört farklı üniversitede uygulanan ölçek aracılığı ile toplanan verilerin çözümlenmesinde SPSS paket programı kullanılmıştır. Araştırmada öğretmen adaylarının fen bilgisi öğretimi dersine ilişkin tutumları belirlenerek, bu tutumların dersin öğrenilmesine etkisi üzerinde durulmuştur. Araştırma sonuçlarına göre fen bilgisi öğretimi dersinin öğretmen adaylarının yeni vizyon kazanmaları, objektif ve bilimsel karar almaları ve müfredat programını anlamada etkili olduğu görülmektedir. Bunun yanında, çevre bilincinin oluşmasında fen bilgisi öğretimi dersinin etkili olduğu bayan öğretmen adayları tarafından daha yüksek oranda ifade edilmektedir
