Abstract

Bu çalışmanın amacı, öğretmenlerin okul müdürüne güven düzeyleri ve okul yöneticisi tarafından sergilenen etik liderlik davranışlarının örgütsel sessizlik üzerindeki etkisini incelemektir. Araştırmanın çalışma grubunu Konya ilinde görev yapmakta olan 380 öğretmenden oluşmaktadır. Veri toplama araçları olarak; öğretmenlerin örgütsel sessizlik nedenlerini belirlemek amacıyla Çalışan Sessizliği Ölçeği, okul müdürüne güven düzeyini belirlemek amacıyla Çok Amaçlı T Ölçeği, yöneticilerin etik liderlik davranışlarının belirlenmesi için ise Etik Liderlik Ölçeği kullanılmıştır. Araştırmanın sonuçlarına göre okul müdürüne güven ve okul müdürü tarafından sergilenen etik liderlik davranışları ile örgütsel sessizlik arasında negatif yönde anlamlı ilişkiler bulunmuştur. Ayrıca okul müdürüne güven ve etik liderlik davranışları birlikte örgütsel sessizliğin yaklaşık %24’ünü açıklarken, örgütsel sessizliğin tek anlamlı yordayıcısının etik liderlik davranışları olduğu gözlenmiştir. Bu bulgular doğrultusunda, konu ile ilgili yapılacak sonraki çalışmalara ve yönetim uygulamalarına yönelik önerilerde bulunulmuştur.
