BAZI SOSYO-DEMOGRAFİK DEĞİŞKENLERE GÖRE EVLİ BİREYLERİN EVLİLİK DOYUM DÜZEYLERİ: BİR PROFİL ÇALIŞMASI

Abstract

yaşamlarından memnuniyet
düzeylerine göre evlilik doyumuna ilişkin profilleri incelenmiştir. Çalışmanın
araştırma grubunu, Ankara’da yaşayan, en az lise mezunu ve gelir getiren bir
işte çalışan 549 evli bireyden oluşmaktadır. Veri toplama aracı olarak evlilik
doyum düzeylerini belirlemek amacıyla Tezer (1986) tarafından geliştirilen
Evlilik Yaşamı Ölçeği, sosyo demografik değişkenlere ilişkin veri toplamak
amacıyla ise Kişisel Bilgi Formu Kullanılmıştır. Çalışmada elde edilen
verilerin analizinde SPSS 22.0 istatistik programı kullanılmıştır. Yapılan
analizler sonucunda; evli bireylerin evlilik doyumu profil bulgularına ilişkin
olarak şu sonuçlar elde edilmiştir; bir yıldan az süredir evli olan, aile
gelirine katkı oranının kadın ve erkek cinsiyetleri arasında eşit düzeyde
olduğu, çocuk sahibi olmayan ve cinsel yaşamlarından memnun olan evli
bireylerin evlilik doyum düzeylerinin diğer gruplarda yer alan evli bireylere
oranla manidar düzeyde yüksek olduğu belirlenmiştir.

MARRIED INDIVIDUALS’ MARITAL SATISFACTION LEVELS BY SOME SOCIO-DEMOGRAPHIC VARIABLES: A PROFILE STUDY

Abstract

In this study, the profiles of marital satisfaction according to marital
years (marriage duration), family income contribution rates, number of children
and satisfaction levels of sexual life were examined. The research group of the
study consists of 549 married individuals living in Ankara who have at least a
high school education and work in an income generating business. The Marriage
Life Scale developed by Tezer (1986) was used to determine marital satisfaction
levels as a means of data collection. Personal Information Form was used to
collect data on socio demographic variables. In the analysis of the data
obtained in the study, SPSS 22.0 statistical program was used. As a result of
the analyzes made; The following results were obtained regarding the marital
satisfaction profile of married individuals; The marital satisfaction levels of
married individuals who are married with less than one year of marriage and
whose marital contribution to family income is equal between married men and
women who are not children and who are satisfied with their sexual lives are
significantly higher than married people in other groups.
