MOODLE DISTANCE LEARNING MANAGEMENT EDUCATION AND THE APPLICATION OF TRANSLATION LESSON

Abstract

Abstract
This study discusses the changes of computer assisted lessons on us. In other words, how the method of E-learning impacts the learning process and how this impact should be evaluated. In this context the theoretical connections were highlighted firstly and out of this theoretical fundament it will be shown how the method of distance education (Moodle) and traditional learning methods influence each other. According to the study Moodle itself was explained then why it was chosen and how it is spread globally. The reason of electing Moodle and its advantage is shown by comparing the methods of education systems (in Turkey). The application is used in the translation lesson of the department of German language in Hacettepe University and literature and the paper will show changes in terms of education.

MOODLE UZAKTAN EĞİTİM YÖNETİM SİSTEMİNİN ÇEVİRİ DERSİNE UYGULAMASI

Abstract

Bu çalışmada bilgisayar destekli eğitimin üzerimizde ne gibi değişiklikler yaratığı konusu ele alınmıştır. Diğer bir ifadeyle E-Learning yönteminin eğitim ve öğrenim sürecini nasıl etkilediği ve etkisini nasıl değerlendirilmesi gerektiği araştırılmıştır. Burada öncelikle karmaşık veya entegre eğitim olarak tanımlanan Blended Learning kavramı irdelenmiş ve bu alandaki kuramsal yaklaşımlar ele alınmıştır. Bunun yanı sıra geleneksel eğitim yöntemleriyle nasıl bir etkileşim içersinde olduğu üzerinde durulmuştur. Nitekim burada amaç tamamen yeni bir eğitim sistemini ortaya çıkarmak değil, teknolojinin yardımıyla mevcut eğitim sürecini kolay, hızlı ve daha kullanışlı hale getirmektir. Bu kapsamda uzaktan eğitim sistemlerinden biri olan Moodle, kavramsal olarak açıklanmış, sonra ise neden bu programın seçildiği ve dünya üzerindeki yaygınlığı üzerinde durulmuştur. Moodle sisteminin seçilme sebebi, sistemin getirdiği avantaj, Türkiye'de kullanılan başka uzaktan eğitim sistemleriyle karşılaştırarak gösterilmiştir. Uygulama kısmında Moodle sisteminin Hacettepe Üniversitesi Alman Dili ve Edebiyatı bölümündeki Çeviri dersine, eğitim acısından ne gibi değişiklikler yarattığı değerlendirilmiştir.
