GELECEK SALGINLARA HAZIRLIKTA SAĞLIK EĞİTİMİ VE BİREYSEL DAVRANIŞ MODELLERİ: COVID-19 ÖRNEĞİ

Abstract

Salgının yayılma hızını azaltmak açısından kişilerin bir salgın tehdidi karşısında gösterecekleri kendilerini korumaya yönelik bireysel davranışlara sahip olması önemlidir. Sağlık otoritelerinin eylem planları bu davranışlar üzerine odaklanarak hazırlanmalıdır. Aynı zamanda kişilerin algıları, inançları ve motivasyon durumları dikkate alınmalıdır. COVID-19 pandemisi ile mücadelede kişisel koruyucu davranışların sürdürülmesi için sağlık eğitimi odaklı olan öğrenme modellerinin kullanılması gereklidir ve sosyal medya, yakın çevre, iletişim araçları ve çevresel düzenleme ile teşvik edilerek desteklenmelidir. Böylece kazanılan bireysel davranış değişiklikleri tüm toplumu etkileyecek değişikliğe neden olabilir.

HEALTH EDUCATION AND INDIVIDUAL BEHAVIORAL MODELS FOR THE PREPARING FUTURE EPIDEMICS: COVID-19 SAMPLE

Abstract

In order to reduce the speed of the epidemic's spread, it is important that individuals have individual behaviors to protect themselves against an epidemic threat. Action plans of health authorities should be prepared by focusing on these behaviors. At the same time, people's perceptions, beliefs, and motivations should be taken into account. In order to maintain personal protective behavior in the fight against the COVID-19 pandemic, it is necessary to use learning models focused on health education and should be supported by encouraging social media, immediate environment, communication tools, and environmental regulation. Thus, acquired individual behavior changes can cause changes that affect the whole society.
