Abstract
The study aimed to examine the educational studies on web 2.0 tools carried out between the years 2010-2021. Document analysis, one of the qualitative research methods, was used in the research, and in line with the purpose of the study, “web, web 2.0, web 2.0 tools, web 2.0 tools training” keywords were searched at Yök Thesis Center and Ulakbim National Databases, and a total of 64 studies comprising 43 articles, 20 master's theses and 1 doctoral, thesis were evaluated. In order to evaluate the publications, the “Web 2.0 Tools Educational Publication Classification Form (WTEPCF)” was created and the data were analyzed using the content analysis method. The results obtained from the research show that educational studies have gained importance in recent years with web 2.0, and that there has been an increase in both article and thesis studies since 2019. It has been determined that studies on "the use of web 2.0 tools and opinions about" are more prominent, and that qualitative research is preferred the most as a method. Interview and survey methods are the most preferred data collection tools. It has been observed that the data are mostly resolved by using content and descriptive analysis. Among the sample groups, secondary school students, teachers and teacher candidates are the first groups to be studied.
