Abstract

Romantik ilişkilerin daha iyi
anlaşılabilmesi için partnerler arasındaki güç paylaşımının da göz önünde
bulundurulması önemlidir. Partnerlerin cinsiyeti, eğitim düzeyi, sosyalleşme
süreçleri, ekonomik durumları gibi değişkenlerin ilişkilerindeki güç
dağılımıyla ilişkili olduğu bilinmektedir. Buna ek olarak, daha fazla güç elde
etmiş partnerlerin ilişkilerinin gidişatına yön verdiği de yazında
tartışılmaktadır. Aynı zamanda partnerlerin ilişkilerini eşitlikçi/eşitlikçi
olmayan şekillerde değerlendirmeleri güç dağılımlarını olumlu ya da olumsuz
olarak algılamalarını da etkilemektedir.
