KÖPEKLERDE ÜST SOLUNUM VE SİNDİRİM SİSTEMİ İLE ALT ÜRİNER SİSTEM HASTALIKLARININ RADYOGRAFİ, ULTRASONOGRAFİ VE ENDOSKOPİ YÖNTEMİ İLE BELİRLENMESİ

Abstract

Bu çalışma ile köpeklerde üst solunum sistemi (burun, burun boşluğu, larinks, trakea), üst sindirim sistemi (ağız boşluğu, farinks, özefagus) ve alt üriner sistem (idrar kesesi ve üretra) ile ilgili hastalıkların radyografik, ultrasonografik ve endoskopik yöntemlerle kesin tanısının belirlenmesi hedeflendi. Çalışmaya; Erciyes Üniversitesi Veteriner Fakültesi Kliniklerine, üst solunum (10 olgu), üst sindirim (13 olgu) ve alt üriner sistem (21 olgu) ile ilgili hastalık şüphesi ile getirilen 44 olgu alındı. Anamnez ve fiziksel muayene sonrası; üst solunum ve sindirim sistemi olgularına radyografik ve endoskopik muayene, alt üriner sistem olgularına ise ultrasonografik, radyografik ve endoskopik muayeneleri yapılarak hastalıklarının kesin tanısı yapıldı. Üst solunum sistemi olgularının radyografilerinde; değişik yoğunlukta opasite artışı belirlenirken, endoskopi (rinoskopi ve larinkoskopi) ile burun boşluğunun hemorojik, larinks ile trakeanın ise hiperemik ve ödemli olduğu gözlendi. Üst sindirim sistemi olgularında, radyografinin, hastalığın kesin tanısına yardımcı olmadığı, endoskopi (özefagoskopi) ile bölgenin hiperemik ve konjesyone olduğu, yabancı cisimlerin ise görülerek kesin tanının yapılabildiği belirlendi. Alt üriner sistem olgularının radyografilerinde; idrar kesesindeki anormallikler belirlendi. Abdominal ultrasonografi ile teşhisler desteklenmeye çalışıldı. Endoskopi (sistoskopi) ile tanı kesin olarak konuldu. Sonuç olarak; üst solunum ve sindirim sistemi hastalıklarının tanısında; ultrasonografi uygulanamazken, alt üriner sistem hastalıklarının tanısında uygulanabildiği, radyografik ve ultrasonografik uygulamaların kesin tanı için yeterli olamayacağı, endoskopik yöntemin ise yeterli olabileceği belirlendi.

Determination Of Lower Urinary System Diseases With Upper Respiratory And Digestive System Diseases With Radiographic, Endoscopic And Ultrasonographic Methods In Dogs

Abstract

This study aims for the definitive diagnosis of diseases related to the upper respiratory tract (nose, nasal cavity, larynx and trachea), upper digestive tract (oral cavity, pharynx, esophagus) and lower urinary tract (bladder and urethra) in dogs through radiographic, ultrasound and endoscopic methods. For the study, 44 cases were brought to the Erciyes University Faculty of Veterinary Medicine clinics with suspected upper respiratory (10 cases), upper gastrointestinal (13 cases) and lower urinary tract (21 cases) related diseases. After the anamnesis and physical examination, a definite diagnosis of the diseases was made by performing radiographic and endoscopic examination on the upper respiratory and digestive tract and an ultrasound, radiographic and endoscopic examination on the lower urinary tract. In cases of upper respiratory tract radiography, when determining the increase in opacity of various intensities with an endoscopy (rhinoscopy and laryngoscopy) it was observed that the nasal cavity is hemorrhagic and the larynx and trachea were edema and hyperemic. In cases of upper digestive tract, it was determined that radiography did not help in making a definitive diagnosis of the disease, a definitive diagnosis could be made by observing that the region is hyperemic and congested with an endoscopy (esophagoscopy) and seeing the foreign objects. Abnormalities in the urinary bladder were determined by means of radiographs in cases of lower urinary tract. The diagnosis has been supported by an abdominal ultrasonography. An exact diagnosis was made by an Endoscopy (cystoscopy). In conclusion, it is determined that ultrasound can be applied not in the diagnosis of diseases of the upper respiratory and digestive systems, but in the diagnosis of lower urinary tract diseases and radiographic and not ultrasonographic applications but the endoscopic method may be sufficient for definite diagnosis.
