The Journal of Health Sciences (eISSN: 3108-6667) is an open-access, peer-reviewed journal published in Turkish and English. The journal evaluates experimental and clinical research, case reports, reviews, and letters to the editor in health fields such as nursing, midwifery, nutrition and dietetics, physiotherapy and rehabilitation, basic medical sciences, dentistry, and pharmacy. It is published three times a year.
No publication fees are charged during the review and printing stages of articles. The Journal of Health Sciences publishes studies that adhere to international standards in terms of publication principles and writing rules. Articles must be submitted to the journal by the corresponding author, provided they have not been published elsewhere.
All submitted works must be scanned by the authors using iThenticate, a licensed application, and a similarity report must be uploaded to the system along with the article files. The acceptable similarity rate is below 20%. Articles undergo a preliminary evaluation in terms of writing rules and content. Works deemed unsuitable for publication may be returned to the author. Articles deemed suitable are sent to two expert scientific reviewers (blind review), a statistics reviewer, and an English language reviewer for scientific evaluation. Articles deemed unsuitable for publication are returned to the author. Articles requiring revisions based on reviewer feedback are sent to the author along with the necessary documents. The author must complete and upload the necessary revisions to the system within 15 days.
Authors submitting their publications through the online system can also track the publication process through the same system. The scientific and legal responsibility for the articles published in the journal rests with the authors.
The Journal of Health Sciences is indexed by TR Dizin, EBSCOhost, SOBIAD Citation Index, and InAD (Index of Academic Documents).
