Betül Özen is an associate professor at Erciyes University, Faculty of Health Sciences, Department of Public Health. She is the head of the Department of Public Health Nursing. Her studies focus on Elderly Health, Death, Sustainability and Education. She received the Young Scientist Award from Paris for her Home Care studies.

Munevver Baran obtained her PhD in 2011 after completing her Master's degree at Erciyes University in 2004. At the moment, she is an Associate Professor of Medical Biology at Erciyes University's Department of Basic Sciences, Faculty of Pharmacy. Her research interests cover multidisciplinary topics such as molecular biology, cellular therapies, cancer research, radiation and toxicology. She particularly focuses on unraveling biomolecular mechanisms using molecular and histological techniques in in vivo and in vitro experimental studies.
