Abstract

Pulmoner fibrom oldukça nadir bir tümördür. Sıklığı, bütün pulmoner tümörler arasında, yaklaşık olarak %0.03’tür. Büyüyerek pulmoner kompresyona neden olabilir ve tedavisi cerrahidir Pulmoner tümörlerde cerrahi rezeksiyon malign tanılarla sınırlı değildir. Yirmi iki yıl önce tanı konup, büyüyen pulmoner tümöre bağlı progresif dispne gelişen olgumuza cerrahi uygulandı.Postoperatif periyotta hastanın pulmoner rezervi düzeldi. Benign pulmoner tümörlerin cerrahi tedavisi düşük morbidite ve mortalite ile yapılabilir

A Rare Pulmonary Tumor Proceeding Progressive Dispne: Pulmonary Fibroma

Abstract

Pulmonary fibroma is a very rare tumor. Its incidence is approximately 0,03% in all pulmonary tumours.A growing tumor may cause pulmonary compression and the treatment is surgery. Surgical resection is not restricted to malignancy in pulmonary tumours. Our patient who had progressive dyspnoea due to growing pulmonary tumor, which was detected twenty-two years ago, underwent surgery. The patient’s pulmonary reserve improved in the postoperative period. Cure can be achieved by surgery in benign pulmonary tumours, with low morbidity and mortality
