TAVŞANLARDA İÇME SUYU ILE KRONIK KLORPRIFOS ALIMININ ELEKTROKARDIYOGRAM ÜZERINE ETKISI

Abstract

Bu çalışma, tavşanlarda içme suyu ile 125, 250 ve 375 ppm dozda klorprifos alımının bazı elektrokardiyografik parametreler üzerine etkisini incelemek amacıyla yapıldı. Araştırmada, 20 adet erkek Yeni Zelanda ırkı tavşan, biri kontrol olmak üzere dört eşit gruba ayrıldı. Kontrol grubuna 90 gün süreyle normal içme suyu verilirken deney gruplarına sırasıyla 125, 250 ve 375 ppm klorprifos içeren içme suyu verildi. Deneme sonunda hayvanların II. derivasyonları yazdırıldı. Elektrokardiyogramda 375 ppm klorprifos’un R ile T dalgası amplitüdünde ve T dalgası süresinde önemli bir artma, kalp atım sayısında ise önemli bir azalma oluşturduğu gözlendi. Ayrıca, aynı grupta sinus arrest tespit edildi. Diğer elektrokardiyografik parametrelerde ise önemli bir değişiklik belirlenmedi. Sonuçlar, tavşanlarda oral yolla verilen klorprifos’un bazı elektrokardiyografik parametreleri değiştirebile-ceğini gösterdi

Effect of Chronic Chlorpyrifos Intake Via Drinking Water on the Electrocardiogram in Rabbits

Abstract

The aim of this study is to investigate the effect of chronic chlorpyrifos intake through drinking water at the dosages of 125, 250 and 375 ppm of chlorpyrifos on the electrocardiogram in rabbits. In this study, 20 New Zealand male rabbits were divided equally into a control and three trial groups. For 90 days, the control group received normal drinking water and experimental groups were given drinking water containing 125, 250 and 375 ppm chlorpyrifos, respectively. At the end of the 90 days treatment period, lead II of animals was recorded. It was observed that 375 ppm chlorpyrifos caused a significant increase (p<0.05) in the amplitude of R and T wave, the duration of T wave, and a significant decrease (p<0.05) in the heart rate on the electrocardiogram. In addition, the sinus arrest was determined in the same group. No statistically significant change was recorded in the other electrocardiographic parameters. Our results show that oral chlorpyrifos may alter some electrocardiographic parameters in rabbits
