Abstract

Günümüzde hastaların estetik beklentilerinin artması, hekimleri tedavilerinde daha estetik yöntemler kullanmaya zorlamaktadır. Porselen laminate venerler ön bölgede estetik beklentiye cevap verecek restoratif tedavi seçenekleri arasındadır. Geçmişten günümüze porselen laminate venerlerde başarı oranında artış görülmesinde; destek dişte preparasyon, porselen laminate vener yapım teknikleri ve tam seramik sistemlerdeki gelişmelerin katkısı oldukça büyüktür. Bu derlemede porselen laminate venerlerde bugüne kadar uygulanan preparasyon tipleri ve bu konudaki gelişmeler değerlendirilmiştir

The Preparation Techniques of Porcelain Laminate Veneers from Past to Present: An Assessment of Literature

Abstract

The increase in esthetic expectations of patients force dentists to more esthetic treatments. Porcelain laminate veneer is an option of esthetic restorative treatments in anterior region. From past to present; studies about preparation, porcelain laminate veneer manifacturing methods and allceramic systems have increased the success rate of porcelain laminete veneers. In this review, preparation types and developments in this area are evaluated
