Abstract

In this study; 60 semen samples from the artıfidal insemination centre in Ankara and also from the bulls under the possessions ol farmers- brought to be slaughtered in Meat and Fish Foundation Slaughterhouse in Konya were examined for virus isolation 00 sensitive cell cultures. As a resul of inoculation of 60 semen samples onto cell cultures, 5 viruses were isolated. 3 of the isolated v;ruses were identilied as Bovine Herpesvirus Type 1 (BHV-l) ac­cording lo the results of cross microneulralisation lesi by rabbi hyperimmun sera

Abstract

Bu araştırmada; Ankara'da bulunan suni tohumlama istasyonundan ve aynca halkın elinde bulunan, Konya Et ve Balık Kurumu Mezbahasında kesime getirilen, aşımda kullanılmış boğalardan alınan 60 sperma ömeğillden duyar11 hücre kültürlerinde virus izolasyonu çalışmaları yapılmıştır. Incelenen 60 sperma örneğinin hücre kültür1erine ino­kulasyonu sonucu 5 adet virus izole edilmiştir. Izole edilen virusların 3 tanesi, ıavşanlardan hazır1anan hiperimmun serumla yapılan çapraz mikronötralizasyon lesıi sonuçlarına gOre Bovine Herpesvirus lip-l (BHV-l) olarak idenlifiye edilmiştir
