KÖPEKLERİN GIDA ALERJİLERİNİN TEDAVİSİNDE STEROİDAL VE NONSTEROİDAL ANTİENFLAMATUVAR İLAÇLARIN KLİNİK ETKİNLİKLERİNİN KARŞILAŞTIRILMASI

Year 1997, Volume: 13 Issue: 2, 69 - 75, 01.06.1997

Abstract

Bu araştırmanın amacı, gıda alerıısinın tedavisınde steroidal ve nonsteroıdal antıenflamatuvar ilaçların klınik etkinliının karşılaştırılmasıdır. Bu amaçla 11'i steroid. 13'0 nonsteroid antlenflamatuvar ilaç uygulanan gruplarda olmak uzere toplam 24 gıda alerjilı köpek kullanıldı. Köpekların tedavı öncesi klinik muayeneleri yapıldı, tüm köpekların yaş, ırk ve cınsıyelleri ile deri lazyonların ın (kaşıntı, alopesı. erıtem. hıperpıgmentasyon, papüller, püstüller. kabuklanma, saborhea. akut nemli dermatitıs, follikülitis ve pyoderma) şiddetı ve lokalızasyonu kaydedildi. Tüm köpeklerden tedavı on· cesı ve sonrası kan örneklerı alınarak serum bıyokımya profıllerı değerlendirildi. Tüm köpeklere otohemoterapı yapıldı Steroıd grubunda bulunan köpeklere 5mg/kg dozunda Erıtromısın (Erıvet'li.·Abfar), 0.5·1 mg dozunda Deksametazon (Devan -Topkım) ve ıcc/20 kg dozunda Trıpelennamıne (Vetıbenzamın "·-Cıba-Geıgy); Nonsteroid grubunda bulunan kopekiere ise aynı doz Eritremisin ile birlikte Flunıxin meglumine 0.3 mg/kg dozunda (Finadyn''liJ-Eczacıbaşı) I.M ola rak uygulandı. Tedaviye tezyonlar tamamen onadan kalkıncaya kadar devam edildi. Steroid grubunda tedaviye ce· vabın başlaması en erken 5. günde olurken, nonsteroid grubunda 3. günde lazyonların rezolüsyonu başladı ve kaşıntı azaldı. Buna göre steroid grubunda tedavi süresi 6 köpekte 7 gun. 5 kopekte 5 gün olarak kaydedildi Nonsteroid grubundakı köpekların tamamında 5 günde iyileşme sa9landı. Sonuç olarak. flunıksın meglumlne'in gıda alerjilerınin me dıkal tedavısinde kullanılabılecegı ve tedavı etkinliği ve süresi bakımından da deksametazondan daha yararlı oldugu kanısına varıldı

Year 1997, Volume: 13 Issue: 2, 69 - 75, 01.06.1997

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to compara the elinical effıcacy of steroidal and nonsteroidal anti· ınflammatory drugs in dogs suffered from food allergy. Totally 24 dogs having food allergy were used in the study. Elevan of which were served steroid group and remainıng 13 dogs assıgned to nonsteroid group. All dogs were examined physıcally and the age, breed and sex ol the dogs and the skin leslons (pruritis, alopecia, erythema. hyperpıgmentation. papules. pustules. crusts. saborhea. acute moist dermatılls, lolliculitis and pyoderma) and theır severity and localısation were recorded before the treatment ın all dogs. The blood samples were taken and serum bı· ochemıstry profile were interpreted before and after treatment Autohaemotherapy was applied in all dogs Whıle Erytromycıne (5 mg/kg body weıght). dexamethasone (0.5·1 mg body weıght) and tripelennamine (1 cc/20 kg body we ıght) therapy was apphed to the steroid group of dogs. ın the dogs of nonsteroıd group erytromycıne (5 mg/kg body weıght) and fluniksın meglumıne (0.3 mg/kg body weıght} were gıven. Thıs treatment was ceased when the skln le· sıons were resolved completely The resolution of skln lesions were started al 3th days and pruritis was decreased in the nonsteroıd group whıle starting therapy response was 5th days ın the steroıd group. Therapy course was lasıed 7 and 5 days in 6 and 5 dogs respectively. Hovewer therapy course was lasted 5 days in all dogs of nonsteroid group. In conclusion. llunıxin meglumine was found to be more effective drug the both clınical effıcacy and therapy course c ompared with deksamethasone ın the medical treatment of food allergy
