Abstract
Bu çalışmada, % 1 O saman (ham selüloz kayna{;ıı olarak) + % 90 konsantre yem (saman lı grup) ve % 2. 5 sodyum bikarbonat+% 97. 5 konsantre yemlerden (NaHco3•ıı grup) kurulmuş rasyonların besi perfermansına etkıleri, ortalama 9 ay yaş ve 36 - 37 kg canlı ağırlığında, 24 baş ivesi toklu üzerinde araştırılmıştır. Çalışma sonunda. samanit gruba göre sodyum bikarbonatlı grupta yem tüketiminin daha düşük olduğu tespit edilirken, günlük canlı ağırlık artışı ile yemden yararlanma oranının da yüksek olduğu saptanmıştır. Yem tOketimlndekı düşme lle günlük canlı ağırlık artışındaki yükselme ise istatistiksel olarak önemli bulunmuştur. Karkas ağırlıkları sodyum bikarbonatlı grupta, samantı gruptan daha yüksek olmasına karşın, bu yükseliş ıstatıstiksei olarak önemli bulunmamıştır Diğer kesim ve karkas özellikleri bakımından ise gruplar arasında önemli bir fark görülmemiştir

Abstract
In this study. the effects ol dlets contalnglO% straw (as sourt.e ol crude fiber)+ 90% concentrate (with straw group) and 2. 5 % NaHC03 (as source ot buffer) + 97. 5% concentrate (with NaHC03 group) on leedlot performanca by 24 lambs (average inltial welght 36- 37 kg 9 months of age) were evaluated. At the end of study, feed ıntake was lower in the wlth NaHC03 group. Average daily gain and feed conversion ratıo were hıgher ın the wıth NaHC03 group than straw group . The increasıng of daily gain and decreasing ol leed intake were significant statistlcally. Although, careass weights were higher In with NaHC03 group than with straw group but thıs differences were not significantly statistically . There were no differences beetwen groups ın another slaughter and careass characteristics
