Bir hindi sürüsünde belirlenen Histomoniasis olgusu

Abstract

Bu olgu sunumunda bir hindi işletmesinde görülen Histomoniasis olgusu makroskobik ve mikroskobik olarak
incelendi. Makroskobik olarak karaciğerde sarımsı renkte nekrotik odaklar, kalpte kanama, sekumda nekrotik-ülseratif
lezyonlar ve peritonitis dikkati çekti. Mikroskobik incelemelerde ise, karaciğerde heterofil ve fibrin eksudasyonu,
proliferatif lezyonlar ile parankim dejenerasyonu ve nekroz tespit edildi. Sekumda ülser, lamina propria mukozasında
kanama ve mononükleer hücre infiltrasyonu, dalakta fokal nekrozlar ve bir hindide kalpte kanama ve nekroz gözlendi.
Kesitlerin PAS boyamalarındatrofozoitlerin pozitif boyandığı görüldü. Trofozoidlere karaciğer, sekum, dalak ve miyokartta
rastlandı.

The case of Histomoniasis in a Turkey flock

Abstract

Macroscopic and microscopic lesions in the case of Histomoniasis in turkeys from a flock were investigated
in this study. Macroscopically, multifocal and yellowish necrotic foci in livers,necrotic-ulcerative lesions with peritonitis
in cecum and hemorrhage on the heart was noticed. Microscopically, there was heterophylic-fibrinous exudation or
proliferative changes with degenerative and necrotic hepatocytes in the liver sections in different turkeys. In addition,
Hemorrhage and mononuclear cell infiltration with epithelial ulceration in lamina propria in cecum, focal necrosis in
spleen,hemorrhage and miyofibril necrosis in heart tissue were observed. Protozoal materials were seen in liver cekum,
spleen and heart tissue. Suspected sections were stained with PAS and found positive for trophozoides.
